Capital Town Township – Lots for Sale
Development is now reaching greater heights as it gradually moves north. Seventy kilometers away from Manila stands the Capital Town, one of the highly anticipated esteemed townships of Megaworld located at Capitol Road, Brgy. Sto. Niño, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. Backed by its strong cultural heritage and rich history, San Fernando is now facing a huge development and a new phase of growth, as it becomes the cradle of the very first township of Megaworld in Central Luzon.
Heritage meets progress – this is the signature of Pampanga’s Capital Town that is developed by Megaworld – one of the 21 master-planned townships of the company. Known to be the center of commerce, trade, and the regional government of Central Luzon, This township will create new communities while preserving its roots, culture, and values, while renewing their pride as Kapampangans.
Megaworld has been committed to helping every Filipino in achieving their dreams of bringing to life ideal homes to every family for 28 years now. As a matter of fact, it is Megaworld who first used the term “township” in the country’s real estate industry. Eighty percent of its total land bank is dedicated to township developments. With a total of 21 townships across the Philippines, there is no doubt about Megaworld’s vision in bringing in renowned master-planned developments in the country and achieving the Live-Work-Play-Learn components.
Situated at the very heart of Central Luzon, Pampanga is accessible via North Luzon Expressway – San Fernando Exit; Tarlac and Nueva Ecija on the north, Bulacan on the east, Bataan neighbors it on the southwest and Zambales on the west. It is also the home of Clark International Airport. With its contribution as one of the agricultural processing centers of Central Luzon and known as the Christmas Capital of the Philippines due to its beautiful lanterns, San Fernando, Pampanga continues to prove that it is indeed a first class city in the Philippines as it brings about 1.1 million workers and visitors on a daily basis.
The Capital Town envisions the city of San Fernando, Pampanga as the next central business district of the north. From the name itself, Megaworld will create a township of a well-integrated capital city of residential, commercial, office, retail, and other institutional components that would contribute to its continuous development. The BPO Cyber Park, one of the sectors to be strengthened by this township will create thousands of jobs for the potential pool of skilled Kapampangans. No wonder, the 35.6 hectares of land dedicated to this township, supported by a 10-year development plan, can change the lives of Kapampangans and boost the economy of Pampanga in no time.
Inspired by Neoclassical Architecture, the design inspiration for this township will bring back the old times with the simplicity of geometric forms, Greek and Roman details, and the dramatic use of columns and spaces just like the Old Manila or more popularly known as Escolta. It is also characterized by the art deco details represented by trapezoidal and triangular shapes that reflect a classical beauty just like the old times. The Capital Town highlights the Shop House District, which will be positioned as the main tourist attraction of the entire township.
Each development reflects a state-of-the-art structure that will reverberate an intimate and vibrant neighborhood across the city. The structures itself will remind every local of the colorful memories during the 1950s when the local economy of Pampanga started to prosper. In addition to this, there are also commemorative features such as the tribute to Kapampangan heroes, revolutionists, and playwrights as a way of giving back to the people who helped made Pampanga what it is now.
Classical fountains and materials used in Pasudeco Sugar Mills, known to be the catalyst in the economic growth of Pampanga, can also be seen here. It doesn’t only serve its purpose by being labeled as a shopping district; the place itself is also an attraction not only to locals but to foreign visitors as well. Backed by its strategic location near the Clark Airport, foreigners can easily visit the Events Trade Center, another feature of the shopping district where trade expos are held. A year round of events will keep this place lively and attractive to visitors.
Found at the heart of the Capital Town is the Rainwater Park, a two-hectare large open space featuring recreational amenities such as the children’s play area, jogging paths, and bike racks. This park is designed to be the catchment basin during stormy seasons. Every single corner is beautifully made for a special purpose. Aside from the Rainwater Park and the Shophouse District, a museum representing the historical artifacts of Pasudeco will also be erected.
This development will not be complete without the commercial and office spaces. The Casa Emperador, a Business Process Outsourcing tower will provide job opportunities for the locals and the neighboring cities as well. Surrounding the Cyber Park is a wide-open space where everybody is welcome to stroll around and have picnics. In front of Casa Emperador is the statue of General Hizon, a local Kapampangan hero who symbolizes empowerment and belongingness – a pride to every Kapampangan.
With the creation of the Capital Town, a reflection of Kapampangans’ love for arts, beauty, and design is brought to life. Every single architectural design and carefully planned structures allow people to reflect on the historical and colorful memories of the past. The entire township gives people their own personal space and a feeling of having an extension of their home. This development is indeed another milestone in the history of the Philippine economy.
